I will always pledge to Nigeria. Evangelist Oluwagbemi.
"It takes quite something extra these days to want to embark on projects like yours. Wish you the best."..
For Evangelist Fehintola Oluwagbemi, a retired custom officer- turned musician, there are no two marriages that are the same, and there is none that is perfect. 'Just as there are no perfect human beings, there are no perfect homes,'
I think it's a wonderful concept you have here. If all would have this initiative, the country would be better for it. Although having the initiative is one thing, having a passion for it is another. For instance, an upcoming young man or lady would see no sense in committing to Nigeria when all that surrounds them is poverty, hunger and lack... More»
Boko Haram will not break Nigeria. Gov Aliyu
Niger state Governor, Dr. Aliyu Muazu Babangida yesterday declared that the current activities of the Islamic set Boko Haram, would not break the country, insisting that the nation would soon overcome it.
''We must fight poverty, injustice; we the governors must move closer to our people, we must be concerned about their welfare. Boko Haram is something we didn't prepare for; if somebody predicted it five or ten years ago, we will not believe it but with efforts being put in place by government at all levels, we will soon overcome the security challenges we are facing as a nation''.
He stressed the need for the state governors to embark on developmental programmes that would have direct impact on the people at the grassroots and to create employment for the Youths which would keep the off the streets.

Concerns have continued to mount over what is clearly a rip-off on the Nigerian travelling public by foreign airlines operating in the country. It is no longer secret that these airlines, notably British Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Lufthansa, and Air France (KLM) charge Nigerian travellers higher than their counterparts from other adjoining countries like Ghana.
In November 2011, government promised to look into the differences in fares paid by Nigerian passengers and their Ghanaian counterparts on the West Africa-Europe route. Five months down the line, nothing concrete has been done. More »
.Nigeria's Oil Wealth Benefits May Be Lost Forever – Analysts
Standard Chartered Bank warned that with Nigeria expected to become the fourth most populous nations on earth by 2050, urgent reforms were needed to accelerate the development of infrastructure.
The benefits of NIgeria's oil wealth may be lost forever unless the government implements measures to ensure long-term savings of oil earnings or invest much more in infrastructure to lay the foundation for future economic growth.
A key issue raised was the management of the Excess Crude Account and the non-take off of the Sovereign Wealth Fund despite the injection of $1bn as seed money as the analysts noted that the absence of well defined rules for withdrawals from the Excess Crude Account has made it more susceptible to political considerations.
