hnic, Ibadan’s management has declared that students will take an indefinite midterm break until further notice.

The school administration also ordered students to leave the institution’s four residence halls until further notice in a press release dated Friday, December 1, 2023, and signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Theresa Fawale.

The great citadel of learning further urged Parents and guardians to call their children and wards to return home during the mid semester break.

The release reads: “The Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has directed all students of the Institution to proceed on a mid-semester break.

“A statement from the Institution signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Theresa Fawale directed all students to vacate their Halls of Residence immediately.

The statement also urged parents and Guardians to recall their children and wards as the Institution will not provide municipal facilities to the Halls of Residence during the break.

The last time the institution held a convocation ceremony was Friday 13th of December, 2019.
