People are more connected than ever, yet relationships sometimes feel more complicated.

But even with all the changes, one thing hasn’t disappeared:

Nigerians still love deeply.

You still see it:

• in husbands waiting outside salons patiently 😭

• in lovers sending “have you eaten?” texts like clockwork

Because at its core, love here has always been rooted in care.

Maybe love was not necessarily easier before.

Less distracted.

Less curated.

More willing to grow together instead of constantly searching for perfection.
