Social media users have begun revisiting old tweets by Lintex Ogale, the man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend in Lagos, following widespread reports of the killing.

Ogale, a native of Benue State, is alleged to have killed Deborah Moses, an interior decorator, at her Lagos home after reportedly being unable to move on a year after their breakup. Authorities claim he initially disguised himself as a dispatch rider to gain entry into her estate. He is also accused of attempting to tamper with her gas pipe in a failed effort to cause an explosion before allegedly entering her home and stabbing her to death.

Deborah’s sister revealed that Ogale had exhibited violent tendencies during their relationship, and he refused to accept the breakup for over a year. Before the attack, he allegedly said: “If I can't have you, no man would.”

Following news of Ogale’s arrest, Nigerians began sharing old tweets he had posted months prior. In one tweet, he wrote: “na who know person go k!ll am normal.”

Another tweet revealed his reaction to a January 2025 interview by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, who had been caught with the severed head of a female corps member, Salome Adaidu, claiming she had cheated on him. Ogale commented: “The guy na just mumu. If everybody start kpai women base on cheating, I’m not sure 10% of them will be left.”

The resurfacing of these tweets has intensified public scrutiny, highlighting a disturbing pattern of Ogale’s online behavior in the months leading up to the crime.
