The ongoing presidential election trial in Nigeria has prompted a response from Nigerian afrobeat performer Davido.

Davido took to this “X” account to air his opinion, he said, “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”

The election tribunal petition has been a major topic on the lips and minds of Nigerians in recent times, and two days were set aside for the hearing and judgement procedures for all cases. Yesterday and Today, dated the 5th and 6th of this month.

The three dominant parties during the election, the APC, PDP and LP, which had declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC the winner of the February election, were challenged in court by the other two political parties. Represented by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively.

Davido, who had earlier posted a message showing how keenly he was following the process, wrote, “A divided house cannot stand …… everybody long throat .. well”

He went further to pen his thoughts after various readings by the court and tribunal, while also replying to a fan who had responded to his latest tweet, of “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass” asking if his uncle (Current Osun state governor” had emerged as a result of his being rugged. He replied in two words,
“MEN MOUNT”
