e never heard of a singer who doesn’t know many artists or songs, Nigerian singer, Simi is a great example!

Simi who was a guest recently on the Zero Conditions podcast airing on Popcentral TV, revealed that she doesn’t listen to songs, even hers!

The host told her that she had a voice similar to the lead singer of the pop band, London Grammar, Hannah Reid.

When he went further to ask her if she knew Hannah, Simi replied, “I don’t know anybody. I don’t really know anybody”. Wait, what?

The host who was shocked argued further and the singer replied, “Ask anybody that came in the room with me. Ask them If I know anybody. I do not listen to a lot of music. The reason I know my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him”.

“I don’t even listen to my songs. I’m only listening to my album right now because it’s new. I’m pretty sure I’ll stop listening soon”.

Simi went ahead to state that she only enjoys listening to songs from her favourite artist and American rapper, J Cole.

Well, we’ve heard doctors and nurses are terrified of injections and medications. This is just the same situation, lol!
