Farmer’s Bride follows the plot of a wealthy lonely farmer with no surviving family saves for his late brother’s widow Morenike and her son Femi, who decides to marry a young bride Funmi from the neighboring village. Funmi who is supposed to sooth Odun’s aging nerves and bring him joy in his old age sinks into grief and despair, resenting her husband through this union arranged by her mother Tundun, she had no say in.

Mercy Aigbe and Uzor Arukwe are taking on powerful roles as a couple in the upcoming film ‘Thin Line,” set to premiere in cinemas on December 13. With the trailer now out, audiences can look forward to a story packed with drama and emotional depth.

In “Thin Line,” Uzor Arukwe plays Pastor Raymond, a man with steadfast beliefs about marriage and relationships, while Mercy Aigbe stars as Pastor Dammy, his wife. Their lives are turned upside down when Raymond encounters Annie, a desperate prostitute. As he battles between his faith and desires, things take a dark turn when Annie is found dead. Now, the question is: Was Raymond involved, or is he being framed?

Directed by Akay Mason, “Thin Line” also features Iyabo Ojo, Olaiya Igwe, The Cute Abiola, Jaiye Kuti, Adeniyi Johnson, and Yvonne Jegede. This project marks Mercy Aigbe’s second film as a producer, following the success of ” Ada Omo Daddy “

The waiter
In a muddle of events, there are two plot threads that stand out in The Waiter.

In the first, Akpos (Ayo Makun), a fearless and blunt Warri boy, is part of the catering team for an event organised by the Minister of Poverty Alleviation Shaffy Bello at the Krystal View Hotel. However, the program is hijacked by a terrorist group led by Tonye Bright (Bucci Franklin). who puts the hotel on lockdown. Akpos, the Warri boy, who is not to be restricted by anyone, attempts to fight his way out. The other: A terrorist group led by army veteran Tonye Bright hijacks the hotel where the minister for poverty alleviation is holding a poverty alleviation scheme event. He holds the dignitaries hostage and demands all of the poverty alleviation funds (300 billion naira of a 2 trillion national budget, by the way). Apparently, with plans to share the money to the masses who actually need the alleviation, hmn.
Directed byToka McBaror, The Waiter begins with an exciting action scene where Tonye, still an army captain at the time, leads his team into an ambush. Then there’s a cut to Akpos’ introduction who overpowers a gang of one-chance armed robbers; the car rams into a barricade, Akpos emerges unscathed, and for some reason the car explodes. Then Akpos just goes to work, so badass. Great introductions to our hero and ‘villain?’
