Two people have died, while a man and a woman sustained serious injuries after a commercial Suzuki bus collided with a pickup van along the Adekunle corridor, inward Iyana Oworo, in Lagos State.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the accident, which involved a Suzuki bus with registration number KTU 333 YF and a pickup van.

He urged motorists to remain alert, obey traffic regulations and observe speed limits to reduce the risk of road accidents.

“Responsible driving, sustained concentration and the judicious exercise of caution remain indispensable to the prevention of avoidable road traffic collisions and their devastating consequences,” Bakare-Oki said.
