controversial content creator and disc jockey, DJ Chicken, at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre has gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media.

DJ Chicken was reportedly remanded after allegedly making threatening remarks against Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.

The viral clip, recorded during a visit by some of his associates on Monday, showed the entertainer appearing quiet, calm and subdued a sharp contrast to his usual outspoken and energetic personality.

One of his associates, identified on TikTok as @ayomido27, shared the video with the caption: “Very humble. See as my baby humble.”

The video has since generated widespread reactions on X, with many users suggesting that prison had changed the entertainer's demeanour.

One user, @MyraBryt, wrote, “Survival instinct kicks in immediately. Once wahala show face, humility becomes the first language.”

Another user, Habeeb Twolly Messi, commented, “Whatever you are doing, make sure you don’t enter prison. It’s worse than being broke.”

@FACTspu added, “This guy come humble pass before.”

A user identified as @RANDOMPINPPP remarked that encounters with law enforcement often leave people with little choice but to remain calm and cooperative.

Meanwhile, @Basecrat_110 jokingly suggested organising a protest on DJ Chicken’s behalf, while @justdreadit said keeping him away from social media for a while might not be a bad idea.

Another user, Faseyitan Olajide Oluwaseyi, argued that the experience could serve as a lesson, saying it might make the entertainer more cautious about his public comments in the future.

@ashman_ also advised people to be mindful of their actions, noting that individuals often have to face the consequences of their decisions alone.
